Petal is an entity formed by Fflur Medi Owen.

With over 30 years of experience as a creative practitioner, voice artist, actor, and writer, Fflur weaves her experiences together with her passion for creating ceremonies that honour each individual’s identity.

Fflur’s gift lies in listening deeply to the stories and memories of your loved one — their life stories, the traces they have left on the world, and the people and communities around them — and, through this, creating a tribute that weaves together the truth and essence of your loved one in a ceremony that allows them to shine.

Fflur’s skill is in holding and supporting you through the process, offering a familiar, warm, and authentic service on the day of the funeral.

Fflur also has a deep interest in our innate rituals and tendencies as Welsh Celts, ideas surrounding the cyclical pattern of life, life’s threshold moments, and the purpose of being alive.

Fflur was trained by the AMC Academy, with invaluable encouragement from the late Reverend Marcus Robinson.
